I'm thrilled you found me.
Because here's what I know: you're here because something is calling you.
Maybe it's a book.
Maybe it's a story you can't stop thinking about.
Maybe it's just a feeling that there's more—more to say, more to understand, more to become.
Whatever brought you here, you're in the right place.
And now that you're here, which one is you?
Finally
Your book is waiting.
You have the ideas, the authority, the lived experience. And you're still circling it. This is where we figure out why—and do something about it.
Secretly
Writing is calling you.
You've never quite said it out loud, but you've always wondered. Story Salons, Gateless writing, workshops, breathwork—this is where you find out what's possible.
Always
You're here for the stories.
Raw, unedited writing. Essays, fragments, meditations. The work itself — not the teaching, just the writing. Come read.
Still not sure where you fit yet?
The writing life, the stories, the inspiration, the events and opportunities, and of course, the magic. All of it, straight to your inbox.
The world needs your voice. That's not nothing.
I founded the Ruby Slipper School of Magic to help women own their magic and use their voice to change the mother-trucking world. For well over a decade, that's meant helping women get clear on who they are and what they have to say.
In the last few years, it's meant something more specific. Because the women finding their way to me are writers. Some are stuck on books they've been circling for years. Some are just beginning to admit — quietly, to themselves — that they might have a book in them. Some are readers who love story so much they wonder if they have one to tell.
And the world needs all of them to put their words on the page. Now more than ever.
I've helped writers build committed, nourishing writing practices they can actually sustain. Get clarity on what their books are really about — not the surface version, the real one. Finally call themselves capital-W Writers. And so many others get unstuck — because when you write a book, stuck is part of the process. But you don't need to build a house there and call it home.
I've been where you are now. I know how it feels to see glimmers of your big future but fear you're never going to get there. To worry you're not enough and somehow too much all at the same time. To feel stuck in the thing that matters most to you. To spend way too much time tuned into Inner Mean Girl radio.
Believe me when I tell you: You're exactly right, just as you are.
And believe P!nk when she tells you: You're F**kin' Perfect.
For over a decade, I've helped hundreds of women step into their ruby shoes and realize, they've always had the power.
Let's use that power to tell your story — the one only you can tell.
I know what I'm doing. I've been studying leadership and the people who lead well for twenty years. So my book is smart, and researched and already pretty great. AND? I've been working on it so long, I'd honestly lost the desire to write it. Casey didn't help me find the argument. She helped me find the reason. I'm back, and I’m grateful. My book is too.

Casey has an incredibly warm presence and a natural gift for seeing the best in others — and a knack for noticing any beliefs or obstacles that might be getting in the way. I love Casey’s natural excitement and contagious positivity — our coaching gave me a sense of lightness and clarity, and best of all, excitement for all the possibilities ahead.

I want every woman to own her Magic.
All of my work is about helping you become the kind of woman who changes lives — just by being fully, unapologetically you. Whether that's writing the book that's been living in your head rent-free, finally saying "I'm a writer" out loud in real-live-life, or simply chatting with the barista who makes your extra-hot-vanilla-oat-latte — you affect people, you elevate ideas, you leave people different than you found them.
That’s owning your magic—being so connected to who you are and what you believe that you can’t help but make a massive impact.
That’s what I want for you.
